MDC didn't have any issues with the RMC relaying the commands to the TV and back. I routed the MDC commands through a QM-RMC and watched what it was sending in debugger. I don't have the port number, I only controlled them via RS-232, but the one in my office I used for testing would allow me to put it into video wall mode by itself and tell it that it was any of the monitors in a wall. ![]() Is there any other way to get the command in manner? It is not allow me to active video wall function without all LCDs connection. And I only have one LCD in office therefore I cannot retrieve all command I need. In MDC, it returns few commands even if I just trigger a button. I cannot open MDC software in my PC through ethernet when controlling LCD through RS-232!ĭo you have the TCP/IP port of Samsung displays control? Form another post it mentions 55000 but it doesn't work to me. It seems that I can only enable either RJ45 or RS232 at the same time. However there are no command to turn the video wall on/ off? Also no commmand to set the number of horizontal and vertical displays?ĭo you guys have the command or any extent API for these function? Our automation and control solutions for buildings and homes let people control entire environments with the push of a button, integrating systems such as A/V, lighting, shading, IT, security, BMS, and HVAC to provide greater comfort, convenience, and security. Checked the API in their manual they should use the same protocol. At Crestron, we build the technology that integrates technology. Market and the Crestron Home drivers in the Crestron Home app. ![]() I am now developing the module for Samsung MD, ME, DE, UE and UX series video wall. Brilliant is an in-wall lighting and control system that makes it easy for homeowners. Not sure if there is expand API for samsung video wall It follows the rules outlined in their API and the checksums are pretty easy to calculate as well.įor example, this string tells the top right monitor to go into video wall mode in a 2x2 wall: \xAA\x89\x01\x02"\x01\xAF and this is the top left: \xAA\x89\x02\x02"\x02\xB1 and you can probably work it on out from there. If you take Samsung's control software and run it through a QM-RMC it's pretty easy to get whatever code you want out of it. When two sources are shown on the display device, tap Stop to remove the sources presentation from the display device. I had to reverse engineer it but I am running a 4x4 video wall that can switch between being a fullscreen video wall and 4 individual monitors.
